This Privacy Policy explains how Kardom Teknoloji Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“Kardom Teknoloji”, “the company”, “we”) handles personal data through the kardomteknoloji.com website and the mobile applications we publish. It is prepared to meet our disclosure obligations under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (“KVKK”) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

2. Our website
kardomteknoloji.com is a static corporate information site. It has no contact form, no membership system and no user accounts. It does not ask visitors for personal data such as a name or email address, and it uses no advertising cookies or tracking technologies.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, provided by GitHub, Inc. As with any web server, that hosting service may keep technically necessary connection records (such as IP address, browser information, the page requested and a timestamp) for security and service continuity. Kardom Teknoloji has no direct access to those records.
3. Our mobile applications
What data an application processes depends on what that application does. Our general approach rests on the following principles:
- Data minimisation: we process only the data an application needs in order to function.
- Purpose limitation: collected data is not used for purposes other than those disclosed to the user.
- No sale of data: personal data is never sold, rented or shared with third parties for advertising.
- Transparency: the data each application collects is stated in the privacy details on its store listing and in the privacy notice inside the application.
Where an application requires account creation, location, camera access or a similar permission, that permission is requested explicitly inside the application; declining it leaves the rest of the application usable.
4. Data we process and legal bases
If you contact us directly by email or phone, the contact details you share and the content of your request are processed solely in order to respond to you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2-(f); GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) and, where your request relates to a contract, the performance of that contract (KVKK art. 5/2-(c); GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
Where a commercial relationship is established, the commercial and financial records we are required to keep are processed and retained in order to comply with our statutory obligations (KVKK art. 5/2-(a) and 5/2-(ç); GDPR art. 6(1)(c)).
5. Sharing and transfers
Personal data may be shared only where necessary and only with:
- hosting, email and infrastructure providers used to deliver the service;
- accountants and legal advisers engaged by the company;
- competent public authorities, where required by law.
Some infrastructure providers operate servers outside Türkiye. Where that is the case, transfers are carried out in line with the conditions set out in article 9 of the KVKK and, for data subjects in the EU, chapter V of the GDPR.
6. Retention
Personal data is retained for as long as is necessary for the purpose it was processed for, and for the limitation and retention periods laid down in applicable legislation. Once those periods expire the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for a general audience and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that such data has reached us, it is deleted without undue delay.
8. Security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures, proportionate to available technology and implementation cost, to prevent unlawful processing of and unauthorised access to personal data. These include encryption in transit, restricted access rights and keeping the software components we use up to date.
9. Your rights
Under article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information about that processing, to learn its purpose and whether the data is used accordingly, to request rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request erasure or destruction, to request that these actions be communicated to third parties the data was transferred to, to object to a result reached solely through automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
If you are in the European Union, you may also exercise your GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Requests can be sent to info@kardomteknoloji.com and are answered free of charge, within thirty days at the latest depending on the nature of the request.
10. Changes
This policy may be revised from time to time following legislative changes or updates to our services. The current text is always published on this page and the date at the top is updated accordingly.
